Oliver moved to Albury Wodonga to join the Flying Fruit Fly Circus.

At the age of 16, he started a cabinetmaking apprenticeship at a local joinery, learning many skills of the trade.

Oli has always been very interested and passionate about working with timber and enjoys bringing out the personality and quirks of the timber he works with.

Oli’s woodworking journey first began when, at the age of seven, he started making hand crafted chopping boards and sold them at local markets, then eventually to boutique restaurants and bars. 

His goal is to make an impact in the furniture industry, own his own business and teach others about the beauty of solid timber.

Oli is very happy to be pursuing his passion for working with solid timber and to be part of the Steel Road team.
